Pony Youtubers - Markiplier

Decided on a whim that I wanted to ponify some of the YT personalities whose channels I enjoy (much to the chagrin of my husband xD).

And who better to start with than the super-expressive horror-game-reactionist, Markiplier? Of course, a name as big as his has already been ponified several hundred times into all three canon races (plus alicorn, I think? Not sure. May have seen one or two instances while I was glancing through existing Markipony art), so that left me with the dilemma of "How do I make my interpretation of Mark unique?"
The answer lay in his heritage and how I incorporate such things into ponifications. He's Asian (Korean, I believe?), so the gilin/kirin/qilin became the natural choice for me to take. He looks more like a kirin than my previous half-bloods (my bro and I) for the sole fact that I think his mom is pure-blooded. 

Largely, I wanted a little more expressions practice without being locked into the 25 Essential Expressions. Markiplier is, without a doubt, one of the more expressive and animated Youtubers I watch. He's a natural to use for practicing expressions, and I really wanted to try drawing a freak-out face. xD Mark has a fantastic set of freak-out faces. I may end up using his pony mug for off-the-wall expression practice.

Probably will also make this the start of an art series of ponified Youtubers. We'll see!
