Kirin Clans: Turtle, Clan of Earth

Inspired by the idea of an Eastern Elements of Harmony, Feng Shui, the Five Element Theory, and the Celestial Animals/Kings of China and Japan.

Situated in the North, Turtle clan Kirin are children of Spring. They have a strong affinity for and knowledge of the earth, akin to their patron animal. They understand the ebb and flow of the earth's energy, making them very in-tune in where to build, what to plant, and how to do it all. They supply the nation's food markets.
Turtle Kirin are heavily built as a result of their earth-working, making them quite strong and enduring. They have a pair of "spurs" on their pasterns, and their tuft-fur is always thick and curly or wavy. Males of the Turtle clan have longer whiskers, shorter manes/tails, and cheek-beard fluff. They also tend to be darker or richer in color, but this is not always the case.
