Kirin Clans: Emperor and Empress

Inspired by the idea of an Eastern Elements of Harmony, Feng Shui, the Five Element Theory, and the Celestial Animals/Kings of China and Japan.

Hailing from the Imperial Palace in the Center, Yorumizu-san and Soranikko-sama. They embody the Onmyodo, or Way of the Yin and Yang.
Unlike their Western counterparts in Equestria, they are wedded individuals and also have primary rulings over the Five Clans. Hiruyo mainly oversees the Fire and Wind clans, and Tsuki-on oversees the Earth and Water clans. They share oversight of the Metal clan due to no assignment to either Yin or Yang on the part of the element. Also unlike their Western counterparts, they do not rule over the sun and moon, but represent them as divine ambassadors.
Their personalities are somewhat inverse of their embodiments. Hiruyo is more often the calm and passive one, and Tsuki-on the active and aggressive one. This is partially due to the very nature of the Onmyodo. There is some of each in the other, as evident by their contrasting eye colors.
